Patricia (Patti) Darlene Wilson (Elliott) 71 years old died peacefully on Friday evening May 24, 2019 at 11pm at the John Knox Hospice Facility.

Patti was born on August 10, 1947, in Independence, Missouri, to Floyd Edward Elliott and Edith Mae Elliott. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1965. Patti had 2 children, Melissa Darlene Bronson, and Richard Scott Bronson.

A loving mother, Patti felt her most precious role in life was being a mother. Many challenges along the way, she always loved her children more than life itself. Patti decided later in life to study and earn her Real Estate License. She worked for Remax of Kansas City for 22 years until suffering from health issues. Patti lived most of her life in the Kansas City area but did spend some time in the Kingsport, Tenn. area as well as the Bentonville, Arkansas area.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Edith Howes, father, Floyd Elliott, brothers, Eddie Elliott, Larry Elliott, Richard Elliott and sisters, Jackie Wills and Sharon O’Laughlin as well as her daughter, Melissa Bronson.

Patti was a fun loving person. She never met a stranger. She had a personality that drew people to her. Her laugh was infectious. In later years, Patti suffered a heart attack as well as a stroke that left her with some challenges. Patti was diagnosed with Ovarian/ Peritoneal Cancer in March of this year, ultimately being what took her life.

Surviving her, are siblings Ron Elliott, Mena, Arkansas, Debbie (Howes) Parker of Independence, Mo and son, Scott Bronson of Independence as well.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words
