Patsy “MoMo” Lou Roberts, 82, passed away February 19, 2019. Born June 18, 1936, in Fayette Mo. to John R and Annie Mae Myers. On June 21, 1952, she married Robert Carlos Roberts and moved to Kansas City. She became a stay at home mom when they had Robin and Pam. She worked at Chouteau Meat Market for several years. Later in life she became self employed as a house cleaner of which she truly enjoyed. Some of the things she enjoyed most, other than her family, was collecting recipes, some of which she tried out and some not, she loved her flower garden and even enjoyed weeding it. She enjoyed sewing and crafting as well. Mom loved to read!!! She enjoyed taking pictures and talking on the phone. She delighted in wrapping hot dogs at her church for the high school kids and truly enjoyed her church family. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and watching the babies grow up.
She is survived by her children Robin Lee (Dolly) Roberts and Pamela Kay (Dewayne) Bear; MoMo’s pride and joys were her granddaughters, Kayla (Jeremy) Sheer and Krista (Josh) Westfall and great grandchildren Hannah, Ryan, and Isla Sheer, Tristan and Marley Westfall. Mom will be missed by many and we all have a large hole in our hearts. But we are truly lucky for the time we had with her and We are very thankful that she didn’t suffer. She is happy now that she is back with our dad.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Christian Church of NKC Team Compassion; 2018 Gentry St, North Kansas City, MO 64116 in Patsy’s name.
