Patty was born on August 25, 1942 in Weldon, Iowa to Roy W. and Effie B. Neal. She graduated from Weldon High School and shortly after married Bernie Fairley. Together they would move to Gladstone, Missouri to raise their two daughters. Her daughters describe Patty as a loving, caring, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Patty loved family gathering’s, her faith, and music. She was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed playing cards, and loved her many pets.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents; several siblings; and her husband of 49 years, Bernie.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lanie (Chris) Wright and Dana Fairley (Eric Marsalla); four grandchildren, Machaela (Sean) Miller, Hannah Wright, Caleb Wright, and Alexandria Cabral; two great grandchildren, Reece Miller and Delaney Miller; and remaining siblings.
