Paul was born on July 9th, 1938 in Kansas City. He graduated from Glennon High school. He married his first wife Karen and they had 4 sons together. Paul worked at TWA and American Airlines and was referred to as " Mr Coffee" and retired after 43 years. Paul was the definition of work. He was a great example for his sons.
Paul Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Paul Anzalone, Lena Anzalone Highberger and step father Ralph Highberger, sister Anita Hoedl, his first wife Karen Anzalone, nephews Rick Hoedl and Anthony Hoedl, and cousin Joseph Cuda.
Paul was skilled in fixing and building anything with his hands-including the home he built to raise his family in. He also loved to work in the garden especially his garlic that he grew, and he had an orchard at his farm in Gower. He liked to put together model airplanes with his sons and was very active with them growing up. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout and encouraged his boys to be active in Scouts as well. Paul was witty and liked to joke around with everyone and he was very proud of his Sicilian heritage.
In fall of 2015, Paul met his wife and love of his life, Linda Anzalone. Paul loved to go to thrift stores with her and finding treasures and things he could fix. Paul and Linda were inseparable, they loved going to the Opera and played "All I Ask of You" at their wedding. Paul always said that Linda gave him the will to live again after he became a widow. "If I had my life to do over again....I'd find you sooner so I could love you longer".
Paul is survived by his sons, Chris Anzalone and wife Maggie, Carl Anzalone, Victor Anzalone and wife Jennifer, and Frank Anzalone, grandchildren-Racquel Anzalone, Jacqueline Anzalone and Quintin Anzalone. He is also survived by his step-daughters Shaune Kingsolver and Dawn Peterson and husband Troy Peterson.
