

Born in Manila Philippines in 1946 to Esteban and Estrella Novero, Primo was the 6th of 11 children. He graduated from National University with two Bachelor Degrees, Civil and Sanitary Engineering. He met his wife-to-be Gertrudes Lardizabal in youth group at Sampaloc Baptist Church in 1966. Four years later, he proposed to her (twice) before moving to the United States to work. They reunited in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1972 and married at Woodlawn Baptist Church where Primo led Bible Studies for the next few decades.
Primo’s long career as an engineer includes working for AP&L and Entergy Operations from 1972 to 2005. He was one of the founding fathers of the Arkansas Philippine Association in 1978 and created the Gospel Mission in the Philippines in 1997. Primo was a faithful husband, a devoted father, and a spiritual leader in his community known for his unwavering faith and fearless voice. He is survived by his wife Gertrudes Novero and his three sons, Levi, Nathan, and Seth.
