Hello family of Ricardo De La Fuente ,
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your father.
My name is Luis De la Fuente. I live up here in Buffalo , New York.
My father Luis is first cousin to your father. My father's dad was Jesus De la Fuente . He was your grandfather's brother.
My Father was born in Monclova , Coahuila in 1925. He is 94 years old and lives less than a mile from me. (independently). I see him every day.
I had to write an tell you that my dad worked with your father setting pins at the bowling alley. He has told me the story many times. He speaks so fondly of your dad that I am sorry we never reached out to him while still with us. My dad spent a good deal of time with yours in his younger days. He says your father was one of the smartest and hard working people he knew.
My dad retired after 36 years with Ford in 1989. My mom Mary passed away shortly after. He remarried and spent 20 years in Phoenix. I brought him back to Buffalo 5 years ago after his 2nd wife passed.
He had 4 siblings -Jesus , Chica , Caroline, and Elva.
Jesus and Chica have passed. Caroline is 99 years old and Elva is 97.
May Gob Bless you all!!
