Dick retired from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway in 2003 after 38 years of service.
Throughout his life, Dick had many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years. He was a proficient handyman and took pride in working on his cars. He also enjoyed golf, shooting pool, and playing card games. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Dick and Nancy shared a long and loving marriage of 63 years.
