He graduated from Belton High School in 1984. Robert met Amy at a Blades hockey game in May of 1995, they were married in August of 1996. The couple had 2 children, Evan and Allyson Todd. His children remember him as a father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was proud of Evan for achieving his Eagle Scout, and for Allyson who received an athletic scholarship for her pole-vaulting skills.
He was the proud owner of Todd’s Auto Repair for ten years and sold it last year. Robert enjoyed cars, more specifically Ford Mustangs and Shelbys and enjoyed restoring them with his brother Carl. Robert loved baseball, the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs along with collecting sports memorabilia. He was heavily involved in Boy Scouts and was excellent at fundraising for Scout Troop 357.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cathy Todd and his brother, Carl Todd
Robert is survived by his wife, Amy; children, Evan and Allyson; brother, Larry Todd; sister-in-law, Barbara Todd; and nephews, Chad and Joe Todd.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for May 24, 2025; 10 AM at St. James Lutheran Church (1104 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, Missouri, 64118). All are welcome to attend.
