Robert Earl Thompson Jr., a 90 year old Gladstone, MO resident passed away on November 15, 2019 at NorthCare Hospice in North Kansas City.

Mr. Thompson was born on December 4, 1928 the son of Robert Earl Sr and Thelma (McMurtry) Thompson. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He was married to Freda Stevens. He retired from Henry Wurst Inc, where he was worked from 1968-1992.

Survivors include daughter, Pam George; son, Chad Thompson; daughter, Karla Thompson; six grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Thelma; wife, Freda; and son, Robbie.
