Ronald "Mark" Harris, 59, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark was born on August 17, 1955. He retired from Operating Engineers Local 101 where he worked as a crane operator for Belger Cartage Service for many years. He was an avid golfer and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. Mark is survived by his wife Sandy of 26 years, daughter Kristi McSween, step-daughters Kelly Bremer, Carmen Kidd, Kim Huntley, mother Emma Lou "Sparky" Meloy, brother Pat Harris, 10 loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Hobart "Wayne" Harris and brothers Michael Ray Harris, Wayne Allen Harris, and Gary "Dean" Harris. Visitation begins at 6 pm and Memorial Service at 7 pm Friday, December 19, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. The family suggests memorial gifts to NorthCare Hospice.
