Ronald Ogborn, 78, died peacefully on January 6th, 2022. Ron was born on May 29th,1943 in Crown Point, Indiana to Alva and Doris Ogborn. Ron married Jeanette in 2003 in Branson, Missouri. After retiring, Ron moved to Kansas City, Missouri to be closer to his son Brent. Brent remembers him as being kind, gentle, patient, and driven. A father who encouraged him to pursue his goals. Ron was accomplished at many different things. He could fix anything at the house, he could work on cars and was very innovative. Ron was an avid racer. He started out with motorcycles and moved up to race cars and loved racing dirt circle track. His love for cars and racing continued even though he had retired from the track. He and Brent continued to work their cars and took them to car shows and frequented tracks when they could. Ron was a dedicated individual who loved life and he was passionate about everything he did.
Ron is preceded in death by his wife of 20 years Jeanette. Ron is survived by his son Brent, grandson Eric, granddaughter Makayla, step granddaughter Kaitlin, step grandson Kody, and grandson Dustin.
