Ruby Irene Walters, 86, Excelsior Springs, Mo., went to be with the Lord December 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A., and three brothers, Gilbert, George and Clyde. She lived a full life and enjoyed crafts, dolls, cake decorating and teaching Sunday School for 25 years at Claycomo Baptist Church, where she was a member. She and her husband had three children, Peggy I. Medina (Fidel), Independence, MO, Deborah K. Archer, Kansas City, MO, and James D. Walters (Deborah), Kearney, MO. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 and funeral service is at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
