Ruth Ellis Krohne

February 3, 1927 – June 16, 2018

Ruth, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on June 16, 2018. Ruth was a lifelong Northland resident, graduating from NKC High School in 1945 and residing at her home for the past 58 years. She was employed for 26 years by the NKC School District in Food Services and was a homemaker to her family. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, an infant granddaughter, and an infant great grand-daughter, and in 1985 by her husband of 37 years, A.G. "Bud" Krohne.

She is survived by sons, Dennis (Sue) and Melvin (Mary Ellen) Krohne; daughter, Donna Jo (Don) Adams. Ruth has 6 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM Thursday June 21, 2018 at White Chapel Funeral Home with a visitation at 10 AM. Memorials are suggested to Kansas City Hospice.
