He beat the odds time and time again in his fight with brain cancer. He joins the rare one percent of people who live past 20 years with a diagnosis of astrocytoma/glioblastoma, he lived 22. In times of remission, he made the most out of life, never complaining and never speaking of his cancer. Cancer did not define him.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Eva; his beloved children, son, Zachary Baughman and daughter, Sydney Baughman; his parents, Walter and Laura Baughman, sister, Beth (Phil) Ashley; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins; and, his cherished childhood friend, David Bell. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Samual & Ethel Baughman, and Harv & Leah Redden.
He brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and always seeing the brighter side of life. Though his passing has left our hearts broken, the depth of love and happiness he freely shared will forever remain in our hearts.
