Shirley was born in Everton Missouri to Henry C. Withington and Doris Withington (Jones). Shirley married Robert Long on January 18, 1962.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Doris Withington, and her brother Donald D. Withington.
Shirley is survived by her husband Robert Long, Daughters: Rhonda Coleman ( James Bryan Coleman) and Robin Edwards ( Douglas Edwards). Seven grandchildren: Joey Ballard, Danielle Conner, Dustin Conner, James Daniel Coleman, Kayla Edwards-Stewart, James Michael Coleman, and Tiffany Edwards. Five great grandchildren: Dustin B. Conner, Ean Ballard, Aria Ballard, Allison Conner, Theo Ballard.
