Shirley J. Simmons

She was born on November 9, 1946 in Reed Springs, MO; the daughter of Roy and Viola Pogue.

Survivors include two brothers, Willis Pogue and William Pogue; a sister, Alice Worster; three daughters, Karen Peoples of Gladstone, MO, Barbara Jaynes of St. Joseph, MO, and Patty Simmons of Oklahoma; three sons, Ronnie Lakey of St. Joseph, MO, Billy Simmons of Kansas City, MO, and Kenneth Simmons of Tonganoxie, KS; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and her father, Roy Pogue, of Gravitte, AR.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Pogue; two sons, Lonnie Lakey and Sonny Simmons; and a daughter, Burnis K. Simmons.
