Steven Curtis Hamilton (Acie), aged 63, died unexpectedly on September 3rd, 2026. Steven was born on November 28th, 1962 and grew up in Kearney, Missouri. He graduated from University of Missouri in 1985 with a degree in Business Administration. Steven began working for Citi Bank and worked there for 37 years. Steven's children remember him as a patient father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was accomplished at playing the guitar and drums; he was also passionate Chiefs and MU fan.
Steven is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Ray Hamilton.
Steven is survived by his mother JoAnn Christine Hamilton, his sister Kris (Jeff) Henderson, his brother Richard (Danica) Hamilton, his son Miles (Cathryn) Hamilton, and his daughter Lauren (Jacob) Oberg. He is also survived by his grandkids Miley, Cooper, Adalynn, Mason, Clara, and Madix.
A visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, September 25th from 1:00pm - 2:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life.
