Steven was born on the 17th of November in Topeka, Kansas, by his parents Ernie and Jessie Sage. He had two sisters and one brother, Terry Tougaw, Janet Dain, and Kenneth Sage.
The majority of his life was spent working heavy equipment and in his spare time he enjoyed anything outdoors, and was fascinated by woodworking.
He leaves behind his son, Carl Sage, and two daughters, Shelby Sage and Angela Ford. He has three grandchildren, Blake, Nathan, and Taylor Sage. Along with two step-grandchildren, Mindy Stepp and Kevin Nichols. He is also the great grandfather of many.
Steven has been characterized as the most ornery yet charming man you would have ever met. His jokes put smiles on everyone’s faces. He will be remembered by all family and friends, and will be preceded in death by the love of his life, Janice Brown, his first born, Jesse Sage, and his parents.
