Stuart A. Goldstein

He was born July 23, 1971, in North Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Steven E. and Sandra L. (Copeland) Goldstein.

Stuart graduated from Platte County R-III High School in 1990. He joined the United States Navy and served from 1993 until 2001. He was stationed in San Diego, California and Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a boatswain’s mate with Commander in Chief, US Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as a Navy Petty Officer second class. Stuart loved the Navy and was able to travel the world on the USS Copeland. He became a Chevrolet Certified Master Mechanic and worked for Heartland Chevrolet prior to his passing.

Stuart was a die-hard KC Chiefs fan. He collected Chiefs memorabilia and loved attending the games and tailgating with his friends and family. He also enjoyed the KC Royals.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Goldstein; mother-in-law, Dottie Scott; stepmother, Cyndi Scott (MeMe); maternal grandparents, Loyd and Oneta Copeland; paternal grandparents, Ida and Meyer (Mickey) Goldstein; stepbrother, Andrew Enderson; and stepsister, Robyn Summers.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Bridgett Goldstein; his three sons, Dylan Goldstein, Spencer Goldstein and Jeremy Scott (grandson, Logan Scott). He is also survived by his father, Steven Goldstein; stepmother, Kay; siblings, Tina Gerhardt, Michelle Slaggie (Scott), Jeff Goldstein (Kathy); stepsisters, Nicole Napolitano (Joe) and Tracy Fender; father-in-law, Dale Scott; stepsister-in-law, Melissa Rumpf (James); and sister-in-law, Debbie Sissel; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Ellie.

Stuart will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

A visitation for Stuart will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119, followed by a celebration of life from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
