Sue Shaul

Carol “Sue” Shaul, Gladstone, passed away peacefully Friday, April 6, 2018 at Liberty Health and Wellness Center after a long battle with dementia. Visitation and funeral services for Sue will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Dignity/White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 Northeast Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri with the visitation at 10:00AM and the funeral at 11:00AM. Internment at White Chapel Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral.

Sue was born June 21, 1934 to Ernest and Geneva Staples in Brookfield, Missouri. Sue is survived by her daughter-in-law Becky Shaul; sons Jeff (Anne) Shaul; Tom (Susan) Shaul; and daughter Lori (Darren) Woebke; grandchildren Katie Cone, Jeremy Shaul, Leah (Brian) Hatfield, Kyle (Alyx) Shaul, Chelsy (Sal) Shaul, Zack (Stephanie) Shaul, and Blake Woebke; great-grandchildren Ava, Chance, Hunter and Derrick. Sue is also survived by her brother Jim (Susie) Staples, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Geneva Staples, brother Charles Staples, sister and brother-in-law James and Linda Thornton, and her beloved son Dennis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 200; Manhattan Beach, California 90266. Sue’s family would like to thank all the family and friends for the many calls, visits and prayers.
