Sybil L. Fox

Sybil L. Fox, 80, of Gladstone, MO passed away September 24, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sybil was born in Oklahoma to the late Gordon and Hester Bouyear. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Danny G. Fox, Sr., and a grandson, Daniel G. Fox III. Sybil was a long time employee of Sears and a member of Grace Baptist Church. This grandma was very proud of her grandchildren and frequently bragged about them to strangers. She was the rock of our family providing support for any who needed it. She loved traveling with family and friends and was always on the go! Sybil volunteered and supported Rainbow Acres, Bethel Neighborhood Center, Clay County Clothes Closet and many others. Survivors include her children, Danny G. (Sherry) Fox, Jr. and Donna (Chet) Lamkey; grandchildren, Dana Fox, Chet, Andrea and Scott Lamkey; sister, Sharon (Ron) Patterson; brother, Dale (Joyce) Bouyear; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Joe Hunter. Services 12:00 noon, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm, Sunday, September 27, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home Gladstone, MO. Family suggests memorial gifts to Rainbow Acres or Grace Baptist Church.
