Terry L. Brasher, 73, of Gladstone, MO passed away on May 23, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Maple Woods Care Center, after a long term illness. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Tuesday, May 31st, at White Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 also at the funeral home with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 14310 E 42nd St. South, Unit 600, Marketplace Shopping Center, Independence, MO 64055. Terry was born May 23, 1943 in Kansas City, MO. He retired from General Motors with 31 ½ years. On July 1, 1977, Terry married the love of his life, Joanna (Staton) Brasher. They enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in South Florida in their motor home. Fishing, boating at the Lake of the Ozarks, cruising with family and friends and NASCAR races. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Rosalee Brasher. Survivors include his wife, Joanna, of the home; son, Duane (Mary); daughter, Robin (Joe); grandchildren, Bailey and Lauren; siblings, Gary (Linda), Tom (Debbie) and Brenda (John); and many nieces and nephews.
