Thaddeus Gene Robinson passed away at his home on January 28, 2021, at the age of 66. Born on July 14, 1954, he was raised in the Northeast area of Kansas City and attended the First United Pentecostal Church on 40th and Harrison as a child with his family. He also was a member of The Good News Singers as a young man. At the time of his death, Thaddeus was a member of the Heart and Soul Church in Raymore, Missouri. He loved to cook for his family, and he was supportive of the hometown teams, Chiefs and Royals.
Thaddeus was preceded in death by his father Elmer Robinson, brother Gregory Robinson, and sister Marilyn Johnson. He is survived by his mother Claudine Robinson, his wife Cheryl Robinson, their son Joshua Robinson and granddaughter Kylie Robinson, stepdaughter Patricia Perkins (Rick) and children; son Jeremy Robinson (Kim), daughter Kelley Robinson, and their mother Kathryn Reynolds. He is also survived by three siblings Bradford Robinson (Marsha), Sharon Pittenger and Russell Robinson, as well as many more family members.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at Heart and Soul Church, 118 W. Walnut, Raymore, MO 64083. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to Heart and Soul Church for Thaddeus Robinson's memorial.
