

Tom was the beloved husband of Jeannie Chambers for 57 years. He was the loving father of Jeremy Christopher Chambers and Amanda Elizabeth Laws, as well as Tisha Chambers, mother to his three grandsons. His son, Thomas Allen Chambers, preceded him in death. He was the proud grandfather of Anthony Dale Chambers, Travis Allen Chambers, and Jeremy Christopher Chambers, Jr, (Topher) as well as beloved heart granddaughter Shayna Lam, mother to his great-grandson AJ Chambers. He is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Precious Lyric Chambers Graham. Tom was the brother of Jessica Rowson, Donna Alden, and Russell Chambers. His brother, Raymond Everett “Buddy” Chambers preceded him in death, having served with him in the Viet Nam war. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Tom was a member of Tower View Baptist Church. He was a graduate of North Kansas City High School and the University of Missouri at Rolla, where he graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Second Lieutenant’s commission in the US Army Corps of Engineers. He served with the 54th Engineer Battalion in Germany before being deployed to Viet Nam. He was awarded the bronze star for his service in Viet Nam, and received his honorable discharge as a Captain, after which he returned home to pursue a career in mechanical engineering.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64118 on Saturday, October 4, 2025 with visitation at 10:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private at Camden Point Cemetery, Camden Point, MO at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Tower View Baptist Church or the Fisher House.
