Thomas was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 13, 1969 to Erich and Renate Woitasczyk. Thomas was a lifelong Kansas City resident. After graduating from Oak Park High School and the University of Missouri at Columbia, he received his Degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He dedicated his life to improving the vision and health of all his patients, first as an independent Optometrist and later as an Associate Optometrist at Walmart in Liberty, Missouri.
Thomas is survived by his parents in Kansas City, his sister, Karen Janka of Brackenheim, Germany and his nephew Niclas Janka.
A memorial celebration will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on July 20th at 10:00 am.
