Timothy H. Adams

Timothy was the beloved husband of Ruby Eileen Harms Adams for 53 years. He was the loving father of Christopher Adams (Shaunda) and David Adams (Amy). Timothy was the proud grandfather of Ella, Isaac, Aden, Emileigh, Aubrie, and Jackson. He was the brother of the late Sheryl Hoover and John E. Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Timothy was a graduate of Lafayette High School in St. Joseph, MO. He received a Bachelor’s of Science from Missouri Western College and a Masters from Central Missouri State University. He was an elementary physical education teacher and coach at Orrick Missouri Schools for 26 years, a Sports Editor for the Richmond Daily News in Richmond, MO for 3 years and worked for the IRS for 10 years. He served faithfully in many different positions within the local church. Most recently, he served on the worship team, taught adult Sunday school classes and served as a Deacon at Rock Creek Fellowship.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM with Visitation from 5:00 PM until service time. Committal Service will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Memorial Park Cemetery, 5005 Frederick Blvd., St. Joseph, MO 64506.
