Vicki Lee Ryan (67) of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away on December 22, 2023 surrounded by her husband, John, and her four children, Nicole, Cortney, Matthew, and Ashlee. She is also survived by her six beloved grandchildren, Lily, Cooper, Ryan, Dani, Oakley, and Emery as well as her sons-in-law, Brian and Matt and her daughter-in-law, Morgan.
Vicki was born on February 17, 1956 in San Diego. She grew up in Springfield, Missouri, with her four sisters, before moving to Kansas City. Anyone who knew Vicki knew she loved reading and crafting almost as much as she loved her family. Garage-saling with her best friend Georgie was one of her favorite ways to find treasures to turn into her beautiful Christmas lanterns and decor. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and her house was always impeccably decorated with Christmas trees and other holiday trimmings in every room in her house. While Vicki will be greatly missed, her family is at peace knowing she is finally out of pain and living her eternal life with her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven.
A visitation for Vicki will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. A committal service will follow at White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.
