OBITUARY

Victoria Lynn Preston

October 11, 1963November 19, 2020

Vickie loved her family so deeply.

She spent her life dreaming of the ultimate road trip, visiting every theme park along the way. Growing up she spent time with family, at Worlds Of Fun chasing “celebs” and thrill rides. Vickie all could claim she grew up in a bowling alley, as most of her 11 siblings could. Being raised in such a large family made her dream of having her own. She loved being a mother, which lead her to the ultimate love, which was being a grandmother. She enjoyed baseball and playing cards, and she died where she loved to be, and will be forever missed.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie I. (Burns) Preston; her brother, James L. Preston; and sister, Gloria J. Preston.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia L Preston (Thomas Istas); her son Brent A Mountain; 2 granddaughters, Payton J. Istas and Mia L. Istas; her siblings, 2 sisters, Brenda L. Preston and Cheryl D. Coons; 7 brothers, William (Sandi) Preston, Robert (Sharon) Preston, Reece Preston, Terry (Linda) Preston, Delbert (Jackie) Preston, Gregory Preston, and Dale (MaryAnne) Preston; followed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Vic, my heart breaks that you’re gone, I’m so glad God granted us the opportunity to reconnect . One of my fondest memories was you always trying to keep Brenda and us girls out of trouble at the bowling alley . Brenda use to get so mad because you always knew what we were up to. Looking back I think your dad gave you that job to protect Brenda!😂 You did a great job. R.I.P.. Love your smile😊. Until we meet again . Love ya.

My Sister, I miss her very much, besides growing up together we also got to work together for many years. I am going to miss all of the good times we had. She had a heart of gold and would help me out whenever she could. I will always love you and miss you but I know you are resting in peace now. Love you, Cheryl

I just couldn’t believe the news when I heard it, so many thoughts were going through my head and still at this very moment its so hard for me to believe it. Growing up my sisters and I spent half of our time at Aunt Vickie’s house and apartment. Loved all the times we spent together! Im torn apart that she’s actually gone but the memories will always be with us. I love you so much Aunt Vickie, until we meet again. ❤️

So shocked and heartbroken to hear of Vickie’s passing! I worked with Vickie at Ford. She was always smiling and upbeat, and a good friend to have. She was proud of her daughter and son, and granddaughter. Last time I saw her she was so happy to tell me she had another granddaughter on the way! I know she will be sorely missed! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Vic,my sister my friend and even with 5yrs age difference some called me your twin.So many memories with you I just really can't begin. So I will just say thank you. Thank you for always being my protector. From the time I was a little kid when someone hurt me you really wanted to hurt them back. And when I became an adult and my heart got broken,my life turned upside down,it was you I turned to. It was you that kept me occupied so I didn't go crazy. Oh Sister I miss you already! Keep on whistling! I'll see you again! RIP! I Love You Vic! Your little sis Bren💙
