Wanda E. Davis

Wanda Elizabeth Davis, 87, of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday July 3, 2016. Born December 31, 1928 in Chula, MO to Mary (Hinnen) and James Bowe. Wanda worked in insurance for many years. She also work at the Community Blood Center and the North Kansas City School district before she retired. She was a member of Winnwood Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family. She also liked crafts, growing flowers, baking and reading. As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Wanda’s caring nature will echo throughout our lives. Mom you will be greatly missed. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, a sister and a grandson, Mark.

Survivors include 2 children, Steven (Ramona) Davis and Gail (Bob) Balliu; sister, Catherine Bethards, 4 grandchildren, Shane (Heather) Davis, Titus (Erin), Terry (Jessica and Raquel) and Jeff (Tina) Rix; 7 great grandchildren, Emma, Ashley and Dillinger, River, Jude, and Lake, and Cayden; many nieces, nephews, friends and Katie her much loved pen pan friend of many years.

Service 2:00PM Friday July 9, 2016, White Chapel Funeral Home. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Helen Davis State School, 2900 Scott St., St. Joseph, MO 64507
