Lora Irene Beecher

She was born February 21, 1919 in Reed City, Illinois to Leonard and Susan (Westerfield) Maple. She married Ray S. Beecher September 26, 1939 in Mapleton, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1998 in Peoria, Illinois. Her parents; one brother, Loyd Maple and two sisters, Lucille Long and Lela Brownalso preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Weckwerth of Mound, Minnesota and Susan Peters of Glasford, Illinois; four grandchildren;six great-grandchildren;one sister Lois Kopajetich of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.

Lora was a member of the Glasford United Methodist Church and the Order ofthe Eastern Star.

A graveside service will beTuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford. The Rev.Jack Thompsonwill officiate. Davison-Fulton-Woolsey Funeral Home Glasford Chapel is incharge of arrangements.
