Beryl F. Duncan

Beryl (Frazee) Duncan, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard N. “Red” Duncan. She was born in Hartford to the late Anna (Hayes) and Charles Frazee. Beryl was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family. She was employed by HELCO and in later years Comstock, Ferre & Co. She was a member of the Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Aux. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking and loved to read.

Beryl is survived by her son David Duncan; her daughter Linda Avery and her husband Thomas all of Wethersfield; her grandchildren, Heather and Kevin Avery; her brothers Roy Frazee and his wife Lynn of South Carolina and Lloyd Frazee and his wife Margaret of North Carolina; her sister Karen Knapp of East Hartford and several extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister Ruth Davis.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, at 10am, at First Church of Christ Wethersfield CT. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, Tuesday, Oct. 8th, from 5 to 7pm at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpk., Glastonbury.
