Patty, I'm so sorry to hear this news. You and Mike have come to mind often over the years even though it's been a long time since we were in touch. The glory days of our friendship and frequent academic collaboration at the U of R make for great memories. Reading through the thoughts of others in this guest book who knew Mike long before we met and in more recent years, I'm not surprised to find that he came into the world the same caring, gentle and funny soul that I knew, and remained so throughout his life. The relationship the two of you had then, and clearly continue to have, is an inspiration. You're in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I remember recruiting him from South to the UofR and as my teammate my senior year. Mike was a great person and though we had not seen one another in many years, I know he was a great dad and husband.

Condolences from my family to Patty and his children.

Dear Patty
It was a privilege to work with both you and Mike, both exceptional engineers but also to see an extraordinary couple accomplish so much together. I know these last few years have been so hard but you rose to the challenge to make sure Mike got to enjoy life as much as possible. He was such a warrior i, running a 5k while on chemo faster than I can ever dream about. Prayers for you and your three beautiful children.
