Patricia Harrison Bourassa, 78, of East Hartford, CT passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. Patricia was born in Hartford CT, February 29, 1940 to the late Leonard and Eleanor (Bartlett) Harrison. Patricia grew up in Gilead, CT, she moved to Marlborough, Glastonbury and finally found herself in East Hartford where she lived out the remainder of her years. She worked for 46 years at Quality Name Plate before retiring in 2016. Patricia will be remembered for her love of cats, movies, day trips and spending time at the East Hartford Senior center. She was an avid canasta player and loved tending to her online farm. She also enjoyed her son-in-law Kim’s cooking. Patricia will be survived by her 3 children; her son Craig Lester, and her two daughters Doreen Vail and her husband Kim, and Denise Lichtenfels and her husband Fred. Her Grandchildren; Jade Patricia Vail, Ryan Robert Vail and his wife Mindy, Cody Lester, Sabrina Paranzino, and Jake Paranzino. Her siblings Richard Harrison, and Linda Lee Bauer. She is predeceased by her sister Sharon Cormier. Calling hours for Patricia will be held Sunday July 8, 2018 from 2-4 at the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT 06033. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Last Post Animal Sanctuary, P.O. Box 259 Falls Village, CT 06031. I am so sorry about your mom. I felt like I knew her because you talked about her and the cats she loved all the time. I know how much you loved her and cherished your time with her. All the photos posted here of your mom and your family are wonderful. There was so much love and happy times seen in all of them.
