Aaron Richard Tuberg

Aaron proudly served his country for 11 years in the United States Navy, attaining the rank of Aviation Ordnanceman First Class (AO1). Following his military service, he built a career in pool construction and excavation. He was a hardworking man who was happiest when he could get outside, work with his hands, or spend some time playing with one of his tractors.

Above all else, Aaron was a man of deep and unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith was not something he simply spoke about; it was evident in the way he lived, the way he loved, and the way he treated the people around him. He loved sharing his faith with others and had a gift for showing people the love of Christ in simple, genuine ways. He was even known to hand out little Jesus figures to people, telling them he just wanted to “give them a little Jesus.” It was a small gesture that perfectly captured the heart of the man he was.

Aaron was a devoted husband and loving father who treasured his family. He and his beloved wife, Lilly, shared 35 years of marriage, and his overwhelming love for her was extraordinary and evident to everyone who knew them. He deeply loved his sons, Brandon and Blake, showing great pride of the men they became. Aaron also stood in as a father to Ernie, Ramon, Angel Baca and Trinity Tuberg, to whom he was their adopted father.

Being a grandfather (Poohpah) brought Aaron absolute tremendous joy. His grandchildren, Decklan, Wyatt, and Ellie Tuberg, were so deeply loved by him and they will carry his memory with them throughout their lives.

Aaron loved golfing, hunting, working with his tractors, and spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to brighten a room simply by walking into it. He made people laugh, made people feel welcome, and left an impression on countless lives.

Those who knew Aaron knew that his greatest love was Jesus Christ. God’s love was evident in every part of who he was. He did not merely profess his faith; he lived it. Through his love for his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his friends, and even strangers, Aaron gave those around him a glimpse of the Savior he loved so dearly.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife, Lilly Tuberg; his children, Brandon and Logan Tuberg. Blake and Kelsey Tuberg; his grandchildren, Decklan, Wyatt, and Ellie Tuberg. Father-in-law and friend George Mullins. Loving sister LaDonna Baca. Father Armon Tuberg and Siblings Shawn, Shayne, Travis, Julie, and Andrea Tuberg and the many family members and friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.

Aaron’s impact cannot be measured simply by the years he lived, but by the people he loved, the faith he shared, and the legacy he leaves behind. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him, but his family takes comfort in knowing that his faith has now become sight. There are many who remain ready to carry forward the legacy he began: loving their families fiercely, loving others generously, and always finding a way to “give them a little Jesus.”

One of Aaron’s favorite passages of Scripture was Ephesians 2:4

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us…”

Aaron lived his life knowing that great love, and his family finds peace knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served.
