

He leaves his wife of almost 55 years, Felicitas (Hernandez) Aranda; his daughter Lina Aranda; two sons Pedro and Abilio Jr. Aranda; four grandchildren, Justin, Yesenia, Alia, and Arianna Aranda; a sister Agapita Aranda; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Abilio was born in Grand Falls, TX and raised in Urrutia, Chihuahua. While in his 20s Abilio migrated back to the US and worked throughout New Mexico, California, and Arizona. In 1967 he bought a house in Buckeye, AZ and had it transported to Surprise, AZ where he lived until his passing.
Abilio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to everyone. He was a hardworking honest man, demanding respect and at the same time treating all with great respect. He have his all at everything he did and insisted that everyone around him do the same. He loved playing and joking with people, especially his loved ones. Abilio never turned his back on anyone, he helped everyone that needed help. He loved music, he always had a song on his lips, whistling and singing. Abilio will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Monday May 11th, 2015 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave Glendale, AZ from 5-8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will follow on Tuesday May 12th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services following.
