Roy met the love of his life, Emilia “Molly”, while they both worked at Grubers, and they were married on February 19, 1971 in Phoenix, AZ. They relocated to Carlsbad where they raised their daughters.
Roy worked at IMC Potash Plant in Carlsbad, where he retired after 25 years of employment and relocated to Arizona along with his family. In Arizona Roy went to work for the City of Surprise where he started in Maintenance and promoted up to a Utility Locator. Which he was very proud of.
Roy’s favorite sport was bowling which he was very good at. He spent many hours at the bowling alley(s), which always kept him active and going along with all of his grandchildren, family and wife which were his heart and passion.
Roy followed many loved ones into heaven including his parents, Pete Jazo and Fay Galindo Morales, grandparents, Vicente and Petra Galindo, brother, Adan Galindo and sisters, Eva Moreno and Carol Mendoza.
He is survived by his wife Emilia T. Jazo; daughters Rosa Maria (Bernie) Bowser, Alicia J. Urquidez and Sonia (Freddie) Olgin; grandchildren Austin, Aaron, Manuel, Angelina, Isaiah and Elisa; brothers Vicente (Darcey) Galindo and Frank (Susan) Sillas; Sisters Mary (Abel) Rodriguez and Amelita Armendarez and many more cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Services for Adan "Roy" will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in the Garden Chapel on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 10am. Please join the family to celebrate the life of Roy.
