His enthusiasm for the game was matched only by his dedication to many years coaching girls' softball, where he found immense joy in mentoring his daughters in the city league. He inspired countless young athletes, instilling values of teamwork and sportsmanship in each player. Alex shared his appreciation for classic cars with his sons. His collection over the years included: 55 Chevy Bel Air, 55 Chevy Truck, 23 T-Bucket and most currently a 54 Chevy Sedan. He also enjoyed attending car shows and swap meets.
Above all, Alex adored his family. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, often indulging their every whim. Whether sharing stories from his life, making them breakfast after sleepovers or simply enjoying a simple game of Simon Says, he made every moment special.
Alex is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia, his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
