Alice Quaid

She was born on November 23, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to the late Lewis and Mauricia Mora. Alice married Bernard Quaid on May 1, 1954. They have shared over 67 years of marriage. Bernard and Alice moved to Arizona in 1957. Alice was a Cystology Technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital for about 15 years.

Alice and Bernard were members of the American Legion Post 86 in Heber-Overgaard, Maryvale Elk’s Club, Acacia Masonic Lodge XLII, Avondale, Job’s Daughters International & Order of the Eastern Star. Alice was also active with Maryvale Softball League, Indian Guides and the Boy Scouts as a Leader.

Alice is survived by her daughter Lisa, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great great grandsons and one nephew John Quaid. She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard, daughter Terri, son Bernie, and her parents.

Family and friends are invited to a service on Thursday October 16, 2025 at 10 am at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. A Committal service will take place on the same day, leaving West Resthaven promptly at 1 pm for the 2 pm committal, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, Arizona.
