Alicia De La Fuente

Alicia was born in Torreón, Mexico on March 17th 1940 to Domingo Martinez, and Franzisza Calvera. She met and fell madly in love with Juan De La Fuente, and married each other in 1958 in Torreón, Mexico.

Alicia attended high school and college in Mexico, where she got her degree to be a teacher. She began teaching in Mexico,where she taught every subject. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she worked for Penn Athletics inspecting tennis balls for 30 years. Before retiring at the age of 74, she worked security at Sysco as security. Alicia absolutely loved shopping, and being with friends. Most of all she loved to dance with her husband Juan, who still never failed to show how in love with her that he was.

Alicia proceeded in passing by her loving husband, Juan De La Fuente, and is survived by her children John (Diane) De La Fuente, and Dennis (Melly) De La Fuente. Her sisters Lupe, Carmelita, Aristeo, also survive her, along with her 13 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
