Allan Robert Terrien Sr., 75, of Glendale peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born on December 6, 1944 in Winchendon, Massachusetts to the late Arthur and Marion (Boyer) Terrien.
Allan served in the United State Air Force for 15 years and 7 months as a Fire Protection Specialist and a Medical Material Supervisor. He worked at the VA Hospital and eventually retired from the hospital. On August 27, 1986 in Las Vegas Nevada, Allan married Molly Bowsher. Allan was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Glendale Arizona Chapter 20. He had a passion for surfing in his younger days, traveling, all things to do with the Renaissance era, drag racing, camping with his family.
Allan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Molly, daughter Elizabeth (Terrien) Silva, sons Allan Terrien Jr., Aaron Terrien and Arther Terrien, companion Diane Dorhrn, sisters Jeanette and Katherine who he also raised as his own, brother Geoffrey, 8 grandchildren, multiple adopted grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many loving family and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10am at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N. 59th Ave Glendale with a funeral service to follow. A Committal Service will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
