She was born on February 15, 1927 in Waynoka, Oklahoma, one of eight children, to the late Pedro and Santos Curiel.
Altagracia married Rodolfo F. Gutierrez on November 3, 1952. They had only shared 21 years of marriage when he was tragically killed on July 6, 1973.
She is survived by her four children Henry Gutierrez, Leticia (Mike) Guillen, Irma (Martin) Sanchez & Gus (Kathy) Gutierrez, two brothers Antonio Curiel & Juan (Lucia) Curiel, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Altagracia, was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Jayme, granddaughter Danielle Guillen & five siblings.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale. A rosary will occur Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 7:00 PM, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, Arizona 85301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament, 512 N. 93rd Avenue, Tolleson, Arizona. Burial will follow at Glendale Memorial Park.
