Angel Napoleon Cisneroz, aged 88, passed away peacefully on February 7th, 2025. He was born in Peoria, Arizona on August 2nd, 1936 to Jorge and Carmelita Cisneroz. He graduated from Glendale High School in 1953. He lived a life marked by theocratic service to his fellow man and a loving 66-year-long marriage based on a deep and reasoned faith in Jehovah God.
Angel is survived by Carmen, his loving wife of over 66 years, his daughter Pamela Cisneroz, and his two sons Michael Cisneroz [Sylvia] and Joshua Cisneroz [Elizabeth]. Griselda Munoz, Angel and Carmen’s beloved eldest daughter, preceded Angel in death in 2016.
Angel and Carmen are blessed with five grandsons and three granddaughters: Johnny Angel Benitez, Anthony Armand Benitez, Oscar Luis Munoz Jr, Adrian Michael Munoz, Joshua Vincent Michael Cisneroz, Jasmine Sienna Cisneroz, Katarina Isabella Cisneroz, and Roselyn Nicole Cisneroz. Additionally, Angel and Carmen were blessed with three great-grandsons: Angel Armand Benitez, Leonel Maximo Benitez, and most recently Benjamin Anthony Benitez.
Throughout Angel’s life, he maintained a balanced life with a focus on raising his family in a way that would please Jehovah God. He was baptized as Jehovah’s Witness along with his wife on January 16, 1961. He provided for his family's physical needs by maintaining a full-time job at “Western Electric” as an Electronic Technician until his retirement in 1990. Angel’s deep faith and love for Jehovah and love for his neighbor motivated him to put his full energy into serving his congregation. Over the span of 53 years, with the support of his loving wife Carmen, he served as an elder in several Spanish-speaking congregations in Glendale, El Mirage, and Phoenix Arizona.
Angel will be dearly missed by his family and many within the congregations he served. Angel had the ability to provide wise counsel to others based on a deep knowledge of the Bible and the principles found therein. Shy by nature, Angel always credited Jehovah God, and the support of his wife for the courage and ability to give public discourses, preach from house to house in his ministry, and study the Bible with various students throughout his life. He was also a loving and caring husband to his wife and a beloved father, father-in-law, and grandfather to his children and grandchildren.
Angel did his best to apply what he learned at Ecclesiastes 12:13 which says: “Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.”
