Angelo A. González Jr.

Angelo was born on November 6, 1953 and passed on December 19, 2024 in Surprise with Hospice of the Valley. He resided in Sun City, Arizona with his wife, Brisia. He was a wonderful son, brother, dad, uncle, and grandfather. His parents, Angel and Irene Gonzalez were very proud of their son. They had a family of five, four girls and one boy. He graduated in 1971 from Washington High School, Phoenix, AZ. He has four daughters: Angela, Jennifer (pre-deceased) Priscilla and Melissa. He remarried in 2023 to Brisia Ramos and loved his extended family.

He had a passion for sports and staying fit. He was an avid fan of ASU, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, and the Diamondbacks. He shared his enthusiasm with his friends and family. He enjoyed going to the gym, bowling, attending games, tailgating, and playing sports. He was very competitive and always had a winning attitude and spirit.

Angelo worked in production for Holsum Bakery for over 37 years in various positions. He retired in 2015 and was excited about traveling and spending time with his family.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Angel Gonzalez, mother, Irene Sanders, and his pre-deceased daughter Jennifer (children: Jordan, Nicky, and Taylor). He is survived by his daughters, Angela (children: Annisa, Vanity, Victoria, and Blake), Priscilla (Jose) (children: Emmi, Cruz, and Asa) and Melissa (Tara). He is also survived by his sisters Susan (pre-deceased Carl) Sandra, Eliza (Joe), Norma (predeceased Joe) and their children.

Private viewing was held on January 2, 2025 at West Resthaven and graveside service on January 4, 2025.
