

Anne Marie (Cancellara) Perry, 96 years old, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, August 28th. A Celebration of her Life & luncheon will be held on Sunday, September 4th at 2:00 pm at The Knights of Columbus hall, 8066 N. 49th Ave. in Glendale, AZ.
Anne was born on September 23, 1925 in Cleveland, OH to Canio & Christina (Picone) Cancellara. She worked in her teens as a seamstress hand sewing beads & pearls on wedding dresses. She also worked as a Bookkeeper.
Anne was a stay at home Mom to her 7 children, when her youngest went to kindergarten she went back to work. She was a Bluebird/Campfire Girls leader and a fighter for all children.
Anne had a huge and loving heart. Anyone that needed a Mom was taken under her wings. She absolutely loved life and her family was most important to her. She was an avid bowler, card player, gambler, chef, seamstress, dancer, and the best Mother and Grandmother on the earth.
Anne is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 50 years, Fredrick Raymond Perry, her daughter Diane Perry (Hinds & Marzocchi), sister Jessie Pigat, brother Patrick Cancellara (Mickey) , grandsons Jonathan Perry & Patrick Hinds , daughters-in-law Deborah & Thamese Perry, & her beau Jack Scott. Anne is survived by her brother Joe (Marge) Cancellara, her children: Gerald (Sandra) Perry, Christine (Nick & Kathy) DiSabella, Dawn Vaccaro, Annette (Mike) Peugh, Yolanda (Mike) Hoffarth and Fredrick Perry. Anne is also survived by her adopted in heart daughters Turon (Brian) Vahedi & Linda (Bob) Staneck, 14 grandchildren Stephen (Debora) Jeff (Susan) Kara(Jason) Antonette, Suzi (Todd), Jay, Nick (Katie) Bennie (Mary) Tina (Jared), Anna, Diane (Nathan) Canio (Bianca) Jake and Joe, 15 great-grandchildren Caleb, Shannon, Souxsie, Reagan, Pat Jr., Grace, Lily, Kayla, Breanna, Charlie, Merissa, Bre, Jessie, Harrison, Emerson, one baby girl soon to arrive, and numerous nieces & nephews.
She will be sorely missed, but heaven just became a much nicer place. We will miss you Mom but we promise to keep your lessons, recipes and love alive through all of your children and their children. Rest in Peace Mommy……
