He was born in Phoenix on July 3, 1922 to the late Clarence and Mabel Pruett.
Art served with the United States Navy during WWII.
He is survived by his wife of almost 68 years Wilma, three children Carol Appleby, Artie Ross & Earl Pruett, daughter-in-law Susan Pruett, six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale at 10AM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
