Bates, Barbara, Jean, 93 of Glendale, AZ passed away on April 14, 2015 at John C. Lincoln Hospital North. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Bates. Survived by her children John, Susan Mills (Robert), Jeanne Bowser-McBroom (Terry), Robert (Janet) along with 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and her brother David (Penelope) Woodall. Barbara was active in the Eastern Star, was a worthy matron several times, and sang in the Nile Chorus for many years. She was active in her Methodist Church and celebrated her life with her Lord. Her life memory will be celebrated Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N 59th Avenue Glendale, AZ 85301. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00pm with services to follow at 4pm.
