

Barry attended Phoenix College and graduated from Arizona State University. He dedicated his life to education, serving as a math teacher at Washington High School and teaching part-time at ASU West, Grand Canyon University, and Glendale Community College. Barry was always willing to tutor anyone who needed help in math, even over the phone, and he committed fifty years to his career.
Barry shared a loving marriage with his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Draper, for 60 years. He enjoyed a few hobbies, including stamp collecting and hiking. They cherished their time in Sedona, Arizona, and Alaska, especially during their 50th wedding anniversary. Barry was also musically talented, playing the piano, organ, and trumpet. He played the organ at Bethany Bible Church, now known as Phoenix Bible Church.
Barry is survived by his wife Ginger, daughters Wendy Jenkins and Karen Draper both of Phoenix, Arizona, his grandchildren Esther Jenkins of Texas, and Rachel Jenkins of New Mexico, and his great grandson, Dominic who is an absolute joy. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his two older sisters Marlene Evans and Sammy Lane Lundin both of Phoenix, Arizona and his many wonderful nieces, nephews and in laws.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Phoenix Bible Church, located at 6060 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85013, on August 30, 2025, starting at 1:30 pm.
Barry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
