Benny Lopez

Benny was a patriotic and loyal man who dedicated his life to serving his country. He was a veteran of the Korean War and completed his service in the National Guard. His commitment to his country and community was unwavering, and he was known for his hard-working nature.

On August 27, 1955, Benny married the love of his life, Margaret M. Lopez. He is predeceased by her but leaves behind a legacy through their children: Benny Jr., Vera, Richard, and Christina. Benny is also survived by two of his siblings, sharing a special connection with his sister Josie, eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Benny resided in Goodyear, Arizona, where he was cherished by all who knew him. His life was marked by his selflessness and dedication to his family and community. Benny's memory will be held dear by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 8-9AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 9AM. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
