Bernard Richard Laborin

Barney was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona and spent his career as a heavy equipment operator. He loved his family, knew no strangers and often made lifelong friends at first meeting. We’ll all miss Barney’s loud infectious laugh, beautiful smile, and witty one-liners.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Laborin Jr. Barney is survived by his wife; Lupe Aguilar Laborin, his daughters; Iyana Quintero and Samantha Laborin, his grandchildren; Mario Ortega Jr., Joaquin Quintero, and Jaxson Magallan Laborin, his parents; Raymond G. Laborin Sr. and Lupe Coronado Laborin, his sisters; Lupe Laborin (Alex), Donica Laborin and Bernadette Laborin (Ildefonso), and many nephews and nieces.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 16th at 5:00 PM, rosary at 7:00 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 17th at 10:00 AM at St. Louis the King Catholic Church, 4331 W. Maryland Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301. Interment at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, 7844 N. 61st Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
