Bernice Catherine Jackson born to Everett Lowe and Golda Sheets Lowe in Greenup, Kentucky on August 3, 1927. She is survived by her son, Don (Sandy), 4 of her five grandchildren, Dave (Becca), Mike, Nick (Jessica), Chris (Ana), 12 great grandchildren (1 more coming in a month), sisters Ruth Davidson, Sharon Tatum, and brother, Steven Lowe.
She had been married for 62 years when her husband passed away 14 years ago. They had two sons, Don and Jerry and raised their family in Phoenix, Arizona. Bernice (Bea) retired after driving a school bus for 25 years for the Alhambra School District. The school children called her “Miss Bea” and loved and respected her. She was a big part of her grandchildren’s life and will be missed greatly. A celebration of life with her family took place on Friday, January 28th.
A graveside service for Bernice will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301).
